The summer holidays might be over soon, but that won’t stop the fun, organised by Watford Borough Council and now in its sixth year, Big Sports is returning to The Parade from 11am to 5pm on September 7.
There will be some fantastic sporting activities for everyone to join in on. You can look forward to great activities such as trampolining, Zumba, cave adventures, zip lining, rugby, rope-a-phobia, yoga, wall climbing, water wars, palm tree challenge and lots more.
Challenge yourself, or compete against your mates for lots of sporty fun in Watford – it’s not to be missed! Big Sports is one of the most heavily anticipated Big Events, as it’s a jam-packed day of fun, competition and hopefully good weather.
Elected Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor, said: “Big Sports is a fun day out for everyone in Watford. There are lots for fantastic activities on the day for all ages and abilities, as well as lots of tips on how to be active and healthy.
“Despite cuts to our funding from central government, I’m pleased that we are still able to put on events like these completely free of charge for people in our town to enjoy. I encourage everyone to come out and take part.”
