Intu Watford has created a musical stir this Christmas with the introduction of the world’s first curved piano bridge.
The six metre giant piano is installed up until the New Year to offer festive tunes and fun for all the family. Shoppers can play their masterpiece by stepping on the giant keys, and can even learn a song using the interactive ‘piano mode’, with the chance to choose a beat, or battle it out with friends.
The festive fun is captured by a camera that clicks away while shoppers dance on the keys, uploading images onto intu Watford’s Facebook page. Shoppers can also share their experience and show off to friends by posting their own photos over social media, using #watfordbigpiano.
Leigh Brooks, Marketing Manager for intu Watford, said: “We’re very excited to have a world’s musical first at the centre and we’ve already had a go ourselves. It’s an incredible interactive experience that will be enjoyed by all, master pianists and novices alike so make sure to get down to the centre to kick off the musical celebrations.”
