Published on: 25th June 2021   |   By: Amneet Kaur   |   Category: Uncategorized

Garston-based Everett Rovers are looking for new players to join the club.

The football club is currently looking for new players of all ages and abilities along with any aspiring parents looking to become a coach or manager.

Treasurer Wayne Frost said: “We currently have an active playing membership of over 250 children and adults which is increasing.

“We are an inclusive and progressive club that facilitates local children’s development through football in a positive, friendly and safe environment. We believe that children should have the opportunity to play and learn through football helping them to develop their personal, social and physical skills.

“The FC can organise and entertain local events and occasions and have a well-stocked and fully licensed bar. We cater for both large and small events, and our dedicated coordinator will be on hand throughout the process, from start to finish. We have social memberships available to the local community which provides access to our separate member’s bar.

“We are extremely grateful for all the support provided by so many volunteers on our journey so far, who have been recognised on our Roll of Honours List, in our fabulous club house, just a small token of the club’s gratitude and appreciation.

“We’re proud of our history and excited about the future! Join us and become a part of it, for all enquiries please contact me Treasurermbership@everettroversfc.co.uk

Everett Rovers FC was formed in March 1997 when the first meeting was held at The Bill Everett Community Centre in Watford.

The Community Centre was officially named in honour of Bill Everett a local man who was well known and respected in the Watford area and served as a local councillor.
