Hatch End High School in Pinner is delighted to share the successes of its students on GCSE results day (Thursday, August 22).
A spokesperson for the school said: “We are very proud of our Year 11 cohort who have continued the trend of great GCSE results at Hatch End, even better grades than last year! It is wonderful to see them receive the results they deserve today, and we are delighted that so many of them will be continuing with us at Hatch End into the Sixth Form. We thank all our staff, students and parents and join them in celebrating today.
“There were many fantastic individual performances and here we celebrate a few: Megha achieved seven grade 9s, two 8s and a 6 and is planning to study Maths, Physics, Art & Economics; Aoife achieved five grade 9s and five grade 8s and is planning to study Maths, Further Maths, Physics & Sociology; Hari achieved five grade 9s, three 8s, a 7 and a Distinction and is going to study Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry; and Ruben achieved four grade 9s, four 8s, two 7s and a 6 and will study Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Music Technology. In addition, Bozhidar, Robert, Amina, Janvi, Anish, Keiron, Safiya and Daniel all achieved grades that beat their targets by two grades giving them incredible progress scores; a fantastic achievement. Well done!”
