A trio of friends have teamed up to make sure children across Stanmore have the best Christmas possible.
Barrie Gotch, Marc Jacobs and Richard Jaye decided that after a tough year for everyone, and with the closure of many Santa’s Grottos, they would find a way for children to see Santa this year.
They have set up Santa’s Garden Grotto which will visit the gardens of homes around Stanmore this December.
Barrie said that the trio came up with the idea in September and everything will be socially distanced.
He said: “We have all got young families and 99 per cent of grottos have been cancelled. The kids have had a tough year.
“The aim is to make sure as many children as possible see Santa and every child will get a goody bag, present and personalised Christmas card.
Barrie said that many families in Stanmore have already pre-booked a slot for Santa to visit.
Santa’s grotto can visit your home between December 2 and December 24.
