Watford FC have announced they will be hosting a friendly match against Brentford at Vicarage Road this Saturday as preparations continue for the resumption of the Premier League season.
The game will be played behind closed doors and is going to be treated as a Premier League game in regards to safety protocol.
All league and government guidelines will be strictly adhered to and social distancing measures will be in place.
Watford’s Premier League season will resume on June 20 when they welcome third placed Leicester City to Vicarage Road as their fight for survival continues.
The Hornets have not played at Vicarage Road since the end of February when they memorably beat league leaders Liverpool 3-0 thanks to a brace from Ismaila Sarr and one from captain Troy Deeney.
