Hope Charity Watford supports the community through a number of services including food bank, providing clothes, home starter packs and now online courses covering a range of skills.

Debra Simpson, Project Manager at Hope Watford said: “Following the effects of the pandemic, the team at Hope understand that many people in our community have been unable to work, have lost their jobs and have found life very difficult.

“We have continued to help people with support during the pandemic and beyond. We are now able to provide specific training designed to help you get back into the work environment.”

In partnership with John Lewis and training professionals, the charity has created a part-time online course covering a range of employability and life coaching skills including CV writing and job applications, written and verbal communication skills, teamwork and problem solving, positive self-talk, boosting confidence and self-motivation, planning and organisation.

The courses are free to all residents. To register please visit hopecharity.org.uk and download the Registration Form or for more information email training@hopecharity.org.uk or call 07958 119742
