A former Watford FC youngster traded goals for girls this summer as he is entering popular reality TV show, Love Island tonight.
Dennon Lewis, who was a Watford player from July 2015 to July 2018, entered Casa Amor to help rile things up on the island.
The ITV show’s premise revolves around young, attractive men and women living together for several weeks and pairing up with each other in the hopes of being the best couple – the winners of the elimination programme receive a hefty £50,000.
The striking striker, 22, struggled to break into the Watford team during his time in the youth academy, and spent time on loan with both Woking and Crawley Town – he moved to Bromley permanently in January this year, and earlier this month, he signed for National League South side Wealdstone FC.
The latest series began on June 3, but the men and women are separated and new islanders are brought into the two villas midway through each series.
