Wealdstone had another dominant afternoon at The Vale, comfortably beating Billericay Town 3-0 in the National League South this Saturday afternoon (February 8).
A brace from substitute Ross Lafayette and a first half header from Moses Emmanuel sent the league leaders seven points clear.
Emmanuel gave the Stones the lead just after the half-hour mark when Dennon Lewis capped a counter-attack off with a lovely cross which Emmanuel met at the back-post.
Billericay were dominated in the first half and came out stronger at the start of the second period.
No clinical chances were created by the visitors and the Stones capitalised when Lafayette latched onto Alan Julian’s error to slot a second.
The Stones were brutal in the second half and a beautiful passage of play ended with Danny Green finding Lafayette for his brace.
