While for some it may be too early to start talking about Christmas, the Harlequin is already planning for the festive season.
The shopping centre recently invited local primary schools, including Beechfield School, Bromet Primary School, and Kingsway Junior School, to take part in this year’s Community Christmas Tree drawing competition.
The deadline for artwork submissions was Friday, September 12. Shortlisted schools’ designs will be used to decorate a 30-foot tree sculpture erected in the shopping centre this Christmas.
Speaking to WATFORDnews, head of marketing Niamh Crowley said: “We’re excited to collaborate with local schools for the return of our annual Community Christmas Tree competition.
“The beautiful entries from schoolchildren truly highlight the creativity in the community, and it’s such a pleasure to champion this in our centre throughout the festive season.”
