Amersham Heritage Day is returning to the town on Sunday, September 4.
The jam-packed programme will begin at 11:30 am and finish at 5:30 pm. Buses will be running from Chesham, Chesham Bois, Little Chalfont and Amersham on the Hill to Old Amersham, giving everyone the opportunity to get involved.
There will be live entertainment, including Love That Jazz and the ever-popular Children’s Princess Concert.
There will also be an Appreciating Animals petting zoo, a visit from Kew Little Pigs, medieval re-enactments, football activities courtesy of Amersham Town F.C., the Chesham All Girls Marching Band and Morris. Visitors can also enjoy several pubs along the High Street, as well as fairground rides and classic cars.
Heritage market stalls will line the High Street complementing the craft stalls featuring demonstrations as well as a Vintage Tea Room being held in the Market Hall run by Amersham in Bloom volunteers.
The Quaker Meeting House and Amersham Museum will be open to the public, and St Mary’s Church will host a model railway exhibition.
A spokesperson for Amersham Town Council said: “It promises to be the best Amersham Heritage Day yet – we look forward to seeing you then!”
