A Garston non-profit café aiming to teach residents how to be more sustainable has revealed a teaser about an exciting upcoming project.
Random Café, located on Garsmouth Way, submitted an application for funding to Watford Borough Council’s Neighbourhood Fund early in 2025.
Last month, they revealed that their application was successful and they have secured funding for their next project.
The café not only helps to save food from landfill but also serves as a community hub through running various workshops and events.
The funding will go towards a new building, linked to the existing building by a terrace area, and a new kitchen.
Revealing the news on their website, Random Café said: “We have a long way to go, but we hope you share in our excitement for the next steps in our journey.” To keep up to date with the latest news, visit www.randomcafewatford.com
