A Croxley duo are set to host their second coat collection event to help support those who need it this winter, after a successful event last year.
Laura Sandilands, a reformer Pilates teacher, set up business Fit Well last year and was joined by yoga teacher Carolyn Brightwell to host a coat collection as part of the Wrap Up London campaign.
After collecting 1,600 coats last year, the pair have decided to host another collection this year on November 21, from 10am-1.30pm.
Carolyn said that it would be great if the event was even bigger this year to beat last year’s record.
She said: “We look forward to the community rallying and gathering up the coats again. Wrap Up UK was especially grateful to the people of Croxley Green for the amazing contribution last year, and we look forward to what we can produce this year.”
If you have a coat you would like to donate, head to Community Way Car Park on New Road on November 21, where you will see the entrance to Fitwell Studios.
