Home-grown actress Asha Banks is the star of the new Amazon Prime Video film, My Fault, which was released on the popular streaming service on Thursday, February 13.
Asha, 21, grew up in St Albans and is now making a name for herself as a leading lady in Hollywood.
The young actress attended Abbey CE VA Primary School and later Parmiter’s School in Garston. She got her first taste of acting at Top Hat Stage School in St Albans – the first domino on her path to becoming a star!
By the time she was seven, Asha was cast as young Éponine in Les Misérables on the West End. She then appeared in small roles in EastEnders and Call the Midwife.
She has since gone on to star in many productions and most recently held a starring role in the BBC series A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder.
My Fault is Prime’s newest coming-of-age romance with an action twist. In an interview at the premier, conducted by The Upcoming, Asha said that the “excitement and thrill” drew her to the film.
