The Heath Robinson Museum in Pinner has announced its new Friends organisation and invites local people to join – help to support and promote this local museum and its exhibitions and facilities.
Among the benefits of membership, becoming a Friend gives you unlimited entry to the Museum and Special Exhibitions, invitations to Private Views and a range of exclusive Friends events throughout the year.
Leading the Friends is Hatch End based jewellery designer Jane Prentice. In 2016, to mark the opening of the Museum, Jane created a unique Heath Robinson themed jewellery collection Cogs & Wheels for the inaugural programme of the Museum Shop’s The Maker’s Art range. Jane has also supported the museum as a volunteer since then and is delighted now to be heading up the new Friends organisation.
Jane says: “Joining the Friends of the wonderful Heath Robinson Museum supports and celebrates our own local cultural, arts and educational resource. We hope to keep the quirky, innovative essence of Heath Robinson thriving in a community of like-minded people, enjoying each other’s company and having access to excusive Friends’ events.”
