A bunch of top-notch litter pickers took to the streets of Northwood last month for their bi-annual clean up.
Volunteers both young and old joined forces on the morning of England’s extraordinary Rugby World Cup semi-final win on Saturday, October 26, to tackle a rival of their own – littering and pollution.
Northwood Hills Resident’s Association Litter Picks have been a part of the assistance given to the London Borough of Hillingdon Rubbish and Recycling Department for many years.
They are performed twice yearly by volunteers with a view to educate and make a positive improvement to the area. More than 20 volunteers committed to the epic clean on this occasion.
