A man was arrested, and two stolen vehicles were recovered in Borehamwood on Monday, March 14.
Police received reports that a Land Rover had been stolen from the car park at Radlett Railway Station at 5.36pm.
Officers attended and a search of the area was conducted. The vehicle was found in Edgewarebury Lane, Borehamwood a short time later alongside a second vehicle also suspected stolen, which contained two men. One made off from police whilst the second, an 17-year-old man from Edgeware, was arrested.
During the incident, the vehicle was driven at a police car.
The helicopter and dog unit were used to search for the second male however he was not located.
Detective Sergeant Colin Knowles, from the Hertsmere Local Crime Unit, said: “Our enquiries into this incident continue and we are actively looking to identify the second man. I’d urge anyone who may have seen the theft take place at the railway station, or saw the man running from the scene, to please make contact.”
