On Thursday, May 1, residents across Hertfordshire voted for the county councillors they want to represent them for the next four years.
Councillors are chosen by members of a ward and represent the issues impacting that area as well as making decisions on county-wide issues.
Hertfordshire County Council is responsible for a wide range of local services, from fixing roads to looking after children and adults who need care.
Following the election, the Liberal Democrats won 31 seats, the Conservatives won 22 seats, followed by Reform UK with 14 seats and Labour with 5 seats.
The Green Party also won 5 seats with 1 Independent also gaining a seat.

- West Watford: Nigel Bell, Labour
- North Watford: Richard Short, Liberal Democrats
- Rickmansworth West: Paula Hiscocks, Conservative
- Rickmansworth East and Oxhey Park: Vishal Patel, Conservative
- Three Rivers Rural: Louise Price, Liberal Democrats
- Abbots Langley: Stephen Giles-Medhurst, Liberal Democrats
- Bushey North: Laurence Brass, Liberal Democrats
- Bushey South: Seamus Quilty, Conservative
- Croxley: Chris Lloyd, Liberal Democrats
- Hemel Hempstead North East: Colette Wyatt-Lowe, Conservative
- Hemel Hempstead East: Andrew Williams MBE, Conservative
- Hemel Hempstead South East: Jan Maddern, Independent
- Hemel Hempstead North West: David Herring, Reform UK
- Hemel Hempstead St Pauls: Christopher Wright, Reform UK
- Hemel Hempstead Town: Adrian England, Liberal Democrats
- Berkhamsted: Nigel Taylor, Liberal Democrats
- Kings Langley: Richard Roberts, Conservative
