A man in his 70s was pronounced dead after being pulled from a lake near Watford.
Police were called at around 1.15pm on Tuesday, June 25 to reports of concerns for the welfare of a man in Hampermill Lake, on the edge of Watford.
The man was pulled from the water by an unconfirmed person but, despite attempts to save him, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
His death is currently being treated as unexplained but non-suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
