Easter Bunny’s 500 chocolate eggs for children in Cassiobury Park on Monday

Published on: 28th March 2018   |   By: Jason Allen   |   Category: Uncategorized

The Easter Bunny will bring 500 chocolate eggs for children who attend Watford Borough Council’s FREE Easter egg trail in Cassiobury Park on Monday (2 April).

The trail will begin at the Cassiobury Park Hub, running from 1-4pm. There will also be an Easter parade at 3pm. Guests will be invited to create their own Easter bonnet and take part in arts and craft activities with the Watford Recycling Arts Project (WRAP). The event is for children aged five to 12, though their siblings are welcome to attend too.

Plus, Art in the Park will run from 1-4pm in the Cassiobury Park Hub on Saturday (March 31). The event will mark the start of a month-long exhibition of the work of five University of Hertfordshire students (pictured above), inspired by and created in Cassiobury Park.

They will host activities based on their art during the event on Saturday, giving families the chance to learn different art techniques for the cost of £2 per child.

Pherenice Worsey-Buck, Cassiobury Park Manager, said: “We’re delighted that the Easter Bunny could make it to our free eggstravaganza. We’re proud to be supporting aspiring artists and promoting their involvement in the local community.

It will be a fun weekend – and you’ll get to learn something new. We hope that these wonderful adventures in our town’s largest green space can create many special memories for the children of Watford.”
