Construction is continuing on 65 new one- and two-bedroom apartments near Kings Langley station.
As the project nears completion, a ‘dusty boots’ event was held at the site at Home Park Mill Link Road over the weekend of January 6 and 7, allowing visitors to view the homes for the first time.
Guests were given hard hats, safety boots and high-visibility jackets as they toured the development.
Greg Allsop, Bellway’s North London sales director, said: “We welcomed numerous guests across the weekend. The nature of the event gave people the opportunity to see properties at different stages of construction.”
The new development is built on land which formerly hosted Home Park Mill, the third factory built by local papermaker John Dickinson.
Operating from 1825 until 1980, the site was then redeveloped into a road, which included the West Herts College site until 2019, when it closed as the department moved to new facilities in Hemel Hempstead.
