Published on: 23rd October 2024   |   By: Nik Allen   |   Category: Uncategorized

A man was arrested, a quantity of class A drugs was seized and suspected stolen goods were recovered during an operation in Hemel Hempstead this week.

Officers from the Operational Support Group carried out a warrant at an address in the Grovehill area on Monday morning (October 21), with support from the Neighbourhood Policing Team and Operation Scorpion.

Class A drugs, suspected stolen property, cash and multiple mobile phones were seized.

A 67-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and handling stolen goods.

Enquiries are ongoing.

Sergeant Julian Divney, from the Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT), said: “We’re continuing our efforts to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour in the Grovehill area, and this warrant was the latest in a series of proactive operations targeting those we suspect to be involved.

“Drugs and the criminality often associated with their supply and use has a huge impact on local communities and I hope this serves as a warning that we’re making good on our promise to relentlessly pursue those involved in criminal activity.
