A Smallford man today (Thursday, June 24) pleaded guilty to being involved in a conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
Ibrar Ali, 49, of Sleapshyde Lane, Smallford, St Albans, admitted being involved in a conspiracy between September 1 and December 15 last year.
He was arrested, along with 23 others, in a police operation targeting county lines drugs supply in Welwyn Hatfield.
Prosecutor Stefan Weidmann told St Albans crown court: “He is a runner.”
Ali, who was bailed by Judge Michael Kay QC, will be sentenced at the outcome of the trial of others, who deny the charge.
