After 15 years of continuous service at a care home in Chalfont St Peter, husband and wife Regina and Wilmar Aniversario have decided to retire.
Staff and residents at Chalfont Lodge Care Centre sent Regina and Wilmar off in style with a farewell party and presents to thank them for their many years of dedication.
Regina said: “Chalfont Lodge is like a family to me and though I’m looking forward to retirement, I’m really going to miss everyone here so much!”
Raj Boodhoo, general manager at Chalfont Lodge, said: “Regina and Wilmar are the type of people who were born to care for others. They have such huge hearts and were greatly loved by the individuals living at Chalfont Lodge Care Home.
“They were an inspiration to their colleagues and we will all miss them both.
“We wish them all the best!”
The couple are holidaying in the USA before retiring to the Philippines.
