A charity shop in Hemel Hempstead was the target of an arson attack just days before re-opening at the end of lockdown.
Police have launched an investigation after Rennie Grove Hospice Care, in Stoney Croft, was targeted on November 30.
Police were called by the fire service shortly after 10.45pm to report that they were dealing with a fire outside the shop.
Hertfordshire Fire and Rescue sent two fire engines from Hemel Hempstead Fire Station.
It is believed that bags of clothes left outside the shop were set on fire and an arson investigation was subsequently launched.
Enquiries are continuing at this time and no one is reported to have been injured during the incident.
