A Watford-based charity that provides practical support to vulnerable individuals and families is calling on the community for support after its van was stolen.
One Vision works with different communities, faiths, ethnic groups, charities, non-profits and government institutions, and as of December last year, had delivered 380,000 meals in Watford.
Founder of the charity Enoch Kanagaraj informed WATFORDnews that their food hub van was stolen sometime between Wednesday, September 20, and Thursday, September 21, and £1,500 worth of food was also taken.
A spokesperson for the charity said: “Every week, the van runs many trips to various organisations that donate food to us, and then delivers food to those in need. We would like to raise funds to get a replacement van so that we can continue to serve those in need.
“We would like to resume our services in full swing as early as possible. Please help us raise the funds required so we can get going!”
The charity has set a target of £12,000.
