For the first time in nearly 40 years, dogs will be allowed into the Harlequin shopping centre in Watford.
Our furry animal friends will be seen amongst shoppers as the new decision comes into effect today (Friday, August 22).
Over 70 shops in the centre have agreed to allow dogs in; however, shop owners also have the right to deny entry.
Pawprint stickers will be placed in windows to show those shops that welcome dogs.
Owners have been reminded not to leave their dog unattended.
