Developers are preparing an application for 200 new homes in Abbots Langley.
After Three Rivers District Council confirmed that an environmental impact assessment would not be required, the developer is now preparing to submit a planning application for the proposed Woodside Road development.
The total site is approximately 7.2 hectares and currently comprises three paddocks, with a public footpath running along the site.
A spokesperson for Taylor Wimpey told ABBOTSnews: “We have carried out a detailed engagement process with the community, and are grateful that residents have taken the time to provide us with a real breadth of feedback, which we will now use to shape our application.
“We understand that traffic flow is an important issue and we are in the process of finalising our designs, which we expect to include an application to take vehicular access from Woodside Road. Our application will include a full assessment of potential highway impacts and any mitigation that is required to ensure the impact is kept to a minimum.”
