DASHCAM APPEAL: Police ask for witnesses after serious crash in Watford

Police are appealing for witnesses, information and dash cam footage following a serious two-vehicle road traffic collision in Watford.

The incident occurred at around 8.45pm on Sunday, August 14 on the A41 Elton Way, south of the junction with B462 Hartspring Lane.

A white Volkswagen Scirocco and a red Nissan Qashqai were involved.

Officers and the East of England Ambulance Service attended.

A passenger in the Nissan was taken to hospital having suffered serious injuries. The two drivers were taken to hospital with minor injuries.

Sergeant Mark Casey, from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are investigating the circumstances of this collision and would like to hear from witnesses or anyone with dash cam footage of the collision or of the vehicles prior to it taking place.
