Local residents will have the chance to experience the magic of stargazing at an upcoming event at Woodoaks Farm in Maple Cross.
Marvel at the beautiful sights in the sky, from the Milky Way with its many colourful nebulae to the Andromeda Galaxy rising in the east. You should also be able to see the International Space Station.
A knowledgeable team of astronomers will be on hand to provide expert supervision as you use the provided telescopes to explore the night sky.
No experience is required and everyone who is curious about stargazing is welcome. This event is not suitable for children under six and under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Held in collaboration with The Chiltern Society, West of London Astronomical Society, South West Herts Astronomical Society, Woodoaks Farm and the Colne Valley Country Park, the event will take place at 7.30pm on Thursday, September 25. However, if it is cloudy, the event will move to Saturday, September 27.
