Chalfont St Peter are out of the Buildbase FA Trophy in the extra preliminary round after they lost narrowly at home against Whitstable Town this afternoon.
After an uneventful first half, John Ufuah put the visitors in front on 52 minutes and the introduction of Kahlil Francis and Zayd Ait-Fahim could not swing the game back in Chalfont St Peter’s favour, Finlay Johnson’s men slipped to a narrow defeat.
After the game, the club tweeted: “A game of missed chances. Not to be sadly. Thanks very much for your support again this afternoon and safe journey home.”
The Saints travel to Hanwell Town on October 5.
