Croxley coffee shop attracts national press

The Kitchen Croxley in Croxley Green has attracted the attention of national press for their support ahead of the FA Cup final this weekend.

The coffee shop situated along Watford Road has been visited by the likes of ITV and Sky Sports due to their support for Watford FC.

Speaking to Rachel Anderson, the shop owner’s daughter, about how the attraction came around, she said: “I think they heard we had gone to a lot of effort. Sky Sports have come down before when Watford FC were promoted to the Premier League.

“They knew we enjoyed decking the place out and knew we would be on board to do something again.

“Ahead of the final tomorrow (May 18), we are throwing a little party here, there will be face painting, prosecco, afternoon tea and then we will be watching the game on the big screen when it’s on.

“I hope we can get lots of people down, it will be a nice alternative to sitting in a pub all day, why not come down and enjoy a glass of prosecco and eat some cakes.

“Most importantly, it’s really nice we’re able to get the community together for this, especially with all the bad news out there, this will be a fun and enjoyable day for all.”

To join the ladies at The Kitchen Croxley, head down to 198 Watford Road, Croxley Green.
