A car crash between two vehicles on a Sarratt country road has left one man in hospital in critical condition.
The incident took place at around 3pm on Saturday, December 17, when a red Ford Transit van and a black Mercedes C Class car hit each other in a head-on collision.
The driver of the van, a man in his 50s, was taken to Watford General Hospital, where he still remains in critical condition.
The driver of the Mercedes was not injured in the crash, stayed at the scene of the incident and is continuing to help police officers with the investigation. Herts Police have confirmed that no arrests have been made as of yet.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam footage or information which may help with the investigation to come forward.
