In data provided to CROXLEYnews via a Freedom of Information request to Hertfordshire Constabulary, 57 incidents of domestic violence have taken place this year, a drop from 114 in 2021 and 120 in 2020.

Overall, these fit with rates for the rest of the county as well, with a total number of 10, 324 instances recorded this year, compared to 21, 252 in 2021 and 18, 568, with a total of 50, 144 being reported in the past three years. This data includes both incidents described as crimes and those registered but not as crimes.
