COVID UPDATE: Statistics show cases in Dacorum increasing as we enter lockdown two

The latest government statistics show that COVID cases in Dacorum have continued to rise as the country enters lockdown two.

When looking at the data provided for Saturday, November 7, you can see that the number of COVID cases for that day was 37 in Dacorum.

This compiled with the week running up to November 7 results in a total of 153 cases in the last 7 days. A figure that is up by three cases from the week before, amounting to a two per cent increase.

When looking at this on a larger scale, it translates to 86.6 cases per 100,000 residents.

In addition, to the number to data highlighting the number of cases in the area, the data shows how many deaths there have been within 28 days of a positive test in Dacorum.

On Saturday, November 7 there were no deaths within 28 days of a positive death and in the last 7 days running up to November 7 there were sadly two deaths.

This was down by one, accounting to a decrease of 33.3 per cent.

However, the total number of people who have died within 28 days of testing positive for Coronavirus as of 6 November 2020 was 105.
