The countdown has begun to one of the biggest events in Abbots Langley’s social calendar – the Abbots Langley Carnival.
This year’s event will take place on June 9 in the grounds of the Manor House Sports and Social Centre.
Funds raised from this annual event are donated to local organisations, charities and schools.
The event will be sponsored by MK Ginder and Sons for the 12th year.
Amanda Bate, a Watford Lion and secretary of the Carnival Committee, said the organisers were very grateful.
She commented: “Without their support, and that of the parish council and Warner Bros Studios Leavesden, the event could not take place. We hope you will come along and enjoy the fun of watching the procession, as well as the performers in the arena -this year’s main attractions are a Dhol Drumming and Bhangra dance group, Eternal Taal, and audience participation will be encouraged in their second performance! Don’t miss it!”
The day will feature plenty of attractions for all the family including craft stalls, tombolas, food stalls, bouncy castles and the dog show.
