Ready, steady… flip! One of Rickmansworth’s much-loved traditions is back as the Pancake Race returns to the High Street on Tuesday, February 17, promising fun, laughter and a strong dose of community spirit.
Starting at 11am in the heart of the town, the event will bring together local businesses, families and residents for a morning of friendly competition, all in support of Watford Mencap.
The charity is organising the race to raise vital funds for services that support local people with learning disabilities.
The event will feature lively business relay races, with teams of four battling it out for pancake-flipping glory.
With inclusivity at the heart of the event, there will be accessible races to ensure everyone can take part. All participants will receive a medal.
Business teams can enter for £80. Book a place by emailing jstephens@watfordmencap.org.uk.
The accessible race is free to enter, with carers attending at no charge.
Jolene Stephens from Watford Mencap said: “It’s fun, inclusive, and a brilliant way to raise awareness and funds for an important local cause.”
