Staff at The Radlett Centre compared the annual performance of a local dance group to a Michael McIntyre production, after the first show sold out within 45 minutes and all four within 24 hours.
Vanessa Class set up Class Dance 24 years ago. Since then, around 230 children have shown off their moves at The Radlett Centre in a special annual event. This year’s show ran from March 16 to 18.
An important part of the annual show is the parents’ performance, through which families are encouraged to raise funds for the Fight for Life charity.
This year, 10 mothers joined their daughters onstage and helped to raise more than £5,000 for the charity, which supports children with cancer.
Vanessa Class said that the feedback after the show has been “amazing”.
She added: “I’m still receiving message after message, with people saying they’ve seen nothing like it at other dance schools.”
