Pumpkin’s Wildlife Hospital in Rickmansworth recently welcomed the winners of its very first charity Christmas card competition.
Five talented young designers from two local schools, York House and Pentland Field, visited the hospital to receive their goodie bags and see their designs in print.
District councillor Narinder Sian, who attended the event last month, told Ricky News: “It’s wonderful to see young people using their creativity to celebrate and support our local wildlife. Pumpkin’s Wildlife Hospital does incredible work, and today was a chance to recognise both the children’s talent and the dedication of their team.”
The Christmas cards are now available to buy, with each pack costing £6 and featuring the five designs created by students. To order or find out more, message Pumpkin’s Wildlife Hospital on Facebook or Instagram.
Pumpkin’s also recently launched their own quarterly magazine, Whiskers & Wings, which features information about the charity, events, fundraising, and much more. To subscribe, please send an email to subscribepwh@gmail.com
