On Friday, March 23, 12 teams teed off at Chorleywood Golf Club in support of The Cure Parkinson’s Trust.

With players hailing from Chorleywood and other local clubs, including the ladies captains from Denham and Moor Park, the event raised over £1400.

A number of prizes were up for grabs throughout the day, including nearest the pin, straightest drive and of course 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

Following some close competition, the winning team was comprised of Sean Brew, Will Cook (CEO of CPT), John Lees and David Adams, with Jenny Bond and CK Lee winning nearest the pin and John Lees and Marian Neale named as the straightest drivers.

The club members donated items for a raffle, and the ladies section ran a halfway house for players to refuel during the round.
