Home Start Watford, Three Rivers and Hertsmere have announced the appointment of trustee Sophie Linington as their new CEO.
Sophie is set to take on the role in August 2022, bringing with her 30 years’ worth of experience working in the charity and social enterprise sectors.
Home Start is a charity that aids young families going through tough times throughout the area, dealing with issues such as domestic violence and behavioural concerns.
Sophie said of her appointment: “I have always admired the work of Home-Start. I am looking forward to being able to lead Home-Start to support our local communities and empower vulnerable families who are in need.”
