Rickmansworth will be hosts to an indie music festival over the August Bank Holiday weekend.
FarmFest, the grassroots event which is held to raise money for homeless women and children, took place from Friday, August 28 until Monday 31.
The festival, held at Lynsters Farm – who provide a place to call home for 20 previously homeless or refugee women and children – featured some of the country’s most talked about independent and unsigned artists.
On average, the annual event raises £20,000 for the cause, providing heating oil, electricity, water and healthcare to the residents of Lynsters Farm.
Over 40 artists will be performing at the event, providing a variety of acts for attendees to enjoy.
Each year, FarmFest successfully partner with local food and drink suppliers. In 2026, this includes craft beer experts Maple Cross’ Creative Juices Brewing Company.
Scott Albrecht, who runs Lynsters Farm and FarmFest told RickyNews, “Each year, the key objective of FarmFest is to raise money for a cause that quite literally, puts a roof over the heads of vulnerable women and children.
“Everyone who joins us contributes to providing heating oil, electricity, water and healthcare like dental work, to the previously homeless residents of Lynsters Farm.”
