Residents will come together to celebrate local charities and good causes at a presentation evening on Thursday, September 26.
Those who attended Kings Langley Carnival on Saturday, June 22, raised much-needed funds for a range of charities and community groups.
This year’s raffle was the largest ever and just this activity alone raised £1,800.
Now, with all the profits made, the carnival committee will support organisations making a difference in the community.
This year’s funds will help to support The Waterside Centre and The Community Foodbank, but there are also additional funds to distribute. Those benefitting will be announced at a presentation evening on Thursday, September 26.
A spokesperson for the carnival shared on social media: “We have limited funds to distribute and will prioritise projects or activities that will benefit the local (to Kings Langley) community.
“Successful applicants will be notified by Tuesday, September 10, and will be invited to attend the carnival’s presentation evening on Thursday, September 26, and talk about their organisation and receive funds.”
