An upcoming St Albans boxer has secured his first professional win.
21-year-old pro boxer Christian Fetti has brought his first win back to St Albans, defeating Eliecer Quezada, who had an impressive record of 48 fights, 24 wins, 22 losses, and 3 draws.
The fight took place at the famous York Hall in Bethnal Green and was broadcast live on Channel 5 on Friday, April 12. The young fighter said he was grateful to have so many supporters from St Albans and Hertfordshire come to the event.
Speaking to St Albans News, Christian said: “I am overwhelmed by the support, thank you everyone!”
He was also joined by well-known names Conor Benn and Joe Cordina, 2x super featherweight world champion.
After the fight, Christian visited the team at St Albans and London Colney ABC, where it all began, to share the joy of his first win. He’s now looking forward to his next fight in the next couple of months.
