A man has been sentenced after stealing more than £1,000 worth of champagne from a shop in Bushey.
On Wednesday, May 15, last year Jay Kline, 31, stole what court documents describe as “quite a few” bottles from Village Wine in High Road.
Kline, of Worchester Park, admitted to the offence during an appearance at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on September 12, 2024.
In total, the champagne stolen was worth £1,460.86, according to court documents.
Kline has been bailed ahead of his sentencing at St Albans Crown Court, which will take place on Friday, February 14.
His bail is conditional on him living and sleeping at the same address until his sentencing date.
