A resident who sells exclusive French designs ran a fashion show on November 2 to raise funds for local charities.
Michelle Kovacs is an independent seller for Tortue, a company which produces exclusive French designs from Provence.
She decided to join forces with Audley Chalfont Dene, a retirement village in Chalfont St Peter, to give residents who may have limited mobility the opportunity to see and purchase new clothing.
Ninety tickets were sold and £1,251 was raised for two local charities: Age Concern Gerrards Cross Plus and Muscular Dystrophy UK.
Michelle said that alongside raising money for charities, she hoped to allow residents, who might struggle to go out shopping, the chance to purchase clothes they’ll love.
The clothes were modelled by both customers and residents.
