In all areas – named as Rickmansworth North & Loudwater, Rickmansworth West, Moor Park & Batchworth, and Mill End, Heronsgate & Maple Cross – more people identified as Christian than any other religion.

This trend follows suit with the rest of the country, though for the first time fewer than half of the population – 46.2 per cent – defined themselves as Christian.

A total of 31.7 per cent of those in Moor Park & Batchworth identified as Christian, while 17 per cent identified as having no religion and 10.4 per cent identified as Muslim.

More than 50 per cent of people in all areas bar one identified as white, with the one exception being Mill End, Heronsgate and Maple Cross, where 47.7 per cent of people identified as white.

A total of 43.9 per cent of people in this area identified as Asian.
