Published on: 22nd April 2020   |   By: Geraint Roberts   |   Category: Uncategorized

Officers investigating an assault in Watford have released two photographs of a man they would like to trace as it is believed he may have information about the incident.

It happened at around 9.10am on Wednesday, March 4, in the Tesco Express store on St Albans Road.

A man and a woman became engaged in a verbal altercation before physically assaulting one another.

PC Greg Reynolds, who is investigating, said: “We are keen to trace the man pictured as we believe he was in the store at the time of the incident and may have information that could assist with our investigation. If this is you, or you recognise the person pictured, please get in touch.”

You can email PC Reynolds at gregory.reynolds@herts.pnn.police.uk, report information online at herts.police.uk/report or call 101, quoting crime reference 41/19786/20.

Alternatively you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or visit their website crimestoppers-uk.org.

If you are contacting the police to report a COVID-19 related crime, such as a mass gathering, please ensure that you use the online methods of reporting where possible as this will free up police telephone lines so they can answer urgent 999 calls.
