Officers investigating a distraction theft in Watford have released the CCTV image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
On Saturday, March 7 at around 3.30pm a woman returned to her vehicle after shopping at Sainsbury’s on Cow Lane, whilst putting items in the car, she was distracted, and her purse was taken from her bag.
Subsequently some of the woman’s bank cards were used.
Police Constable Kayleigh Fox, who is investigating, said: “If you recognise the man pictured contact me via email at kayleigh.fox@herts.pnn.police.uk as we believe that he was in the area and may have information which could help with our investigation.”
