CCTV APPEAL: Police have released images of two suspects following assault in St Albans

Police have released the CCTV images of two men they would like to identify following an assault in St Albans.

At around 3.20am on Sunday, July 3, a man was set upon outside the Metro Bank on St Peters Street. He was kicked and punched which resulted in him being knocked unconscious.

The men in the images are believed to have been in the area at the time and may have information to assist enquiries.

Officers are appealing for anyone who recognises those in the image, who witnessed the incident or has information about it to contact them.
